Security & Data Safety
First-Rate Data Security and Privacy
CampyChile provides state-of-the-art security and privacy to ensure that your data is never compromised. At CampyChile, we know that security is crucial to you, that’s why it’s our top priority. We devote significant resources to continually develop our industry-leading security infrastructure. When you join the CampyChile family, be confident your data is safe with us. CampyChile leverages modern-day encryption algorithms to protect sensitive data and communications, including AES-256 and TLS 1.2. The lock icon in your browser indicates that data is fully shielded from access while in transit.
User Authentication & Permissions
Users access CampyChile only with a valid username and password combination, which is encrypted during transmission. In addition, CampyChile provides highly configurable user level permissions which are established when a user is added to the system. Permissions can be edited or revoked at any time.
The Security & Reliability Of Amazon’s Cloud
By partnering with Amazon’s cloud platform, CampyChile is built on a highly proven infrastructure trusted by some of the world’s largest internet services.
Amazon’s infrastructure has a high level of availability and provides the capability to deploy a resilient IT architecture. Amazon has designed its systems to tolerate infrastructure and hardware failures with minimal impact to its customers.
Amazon utilizes a wide variety of automated monitoring systems to provide a high level of service performance and availability. Amazon’s monitoring tools are designed to detect unusual or unauthorized activities and conditions at ingress and egress communication points.
All of CampyChile’s services on Amazon are firewalled and set to “deny all” inbound traffic by default. Access to CampyChile’s services are created and maintained for required use cases only.

Operating System Security
CampyChile enforces tight operating system-level security by using a minimal number of access points to all production servers. We protect all operating system accounts with strong passwords, and utilize “best practice” password management and rotation policies. All operating systems are maintained at each vendor’s recommended patch levels for security and are hardened by disabling and/or removing any unnecessary users, protocols, and processes.
Database Security
Database access is controlled at the operating system and database connection level for additional security. Access to production databases is strictly limited to a number of points.
Server Management Security
All data entered into the CampyChile application by a customer is owned specifically by that customer. Our employees do not have direct access to the CampyChile production equipment, except where necessary for system management, maintenance, monitoring, and backups.
Reliability & Backup
CampyChile’s database uses InnoDB technology which allows us to restore your database to a specific point in time – meaning backups are continuous and always available. All customer data is stored on a primary database server that is mirrored to a backup database server for real-time redundancy.
